Technology Integration in the Classroom

Good Afternoon everybody, my name is Eloy Valdovinos (yeah my parents did not like me when I was born, so they gave me a difficult and weird name), but I go by Chris. I just turned twenty-five years old and I hope to graduate in May. Once I graduate, I hope to secure a spot as a GA (graduate assisstant) while I recieve my master's degree and hopefully start teaching and coaching football at the collegiate level.

I believe that the future is upon us now and technology has not only helped educators in the classroom, but has become an important part of the foundation in today's "modern" classroom. Technology can have its many benefits as also it can be tricky and have many downfalls. By using technology as an aid, educators can benefit greatly by it and become even more effective teachers. Technology can greatly enhance the learning experience for students and allow them to learn in many different types of methods such as visual, auditory, or hands-on. As future teachers, we need to realize the potential impact that technology can have in our own classrooms and embrace it and try to use, in order for the students to recieve a better education. Also I believe that technology is there to help educators and to provide the optimal learning state for any student. Technology should not replace the teacher or hinder the teacher, it should be there as an aid to the overall experience in the journey of our student's education.
